Dali and the Path of Dreams

by Anna Obiolis

Once upon a time, there was a little boy whose name was Salvador, though everyone called him Salvi. What Salvi liked most of all was to run barefoot along the beach with his hoop. One afternoon, as he was playing in the waves, he noticed something gleaming under the water. Looking closer, he saw it was a key that the sea had left there. Without thinking twice, Salvi popped it in his pocket. Then, wondering what the key might be for, Salvi hopped up on to his long-legged elephant and let his imagination lead the way…

Medio Pollito

Medio Pollito is a half-chick with one leg, one wing, one eye, half a comb and half a beak. But he has a whole heart and an adventurous spirit that will carry him all the way to Madrid. How will he get there? One step at a time.

There was an Old Person of Spain

by Edward Lear: A Book of Nonsense

There was an Old Person of Spain,
Who hated all trouble and pain;
So he sate on a chair with his feet in the air,
That umbrageous Old Person of Spain.

La víbora de la mar

A la víbora, víbora
de la mar, de la mar
por aquí pueden pasar
Los de adelante corren mucho
y los de atrás se quedarán
tras, tras, tras, tras.

Una Mexicana que fruta vendía
ciruela, chabacano, melón y sandía.
Será melón, será sandía
será la vieja del otro día
dia, dia, día, día

El puente esta quebrado
que lo manden componer
Con cascaras de huevo
y pedazos de oropel
pel, pel, pel, pel
