MOVIE NIGHT: Frog And Toads
When Max’s older brother Jannus sends him on a mission to find frog’s eggs, 6-year-old Max sets out with his buddy Jesse on a journey through nature that’s filled with wonders and delightful songs in this engaging children’s adventure.
Such a sweet family nature movie, wished it was not English dubbed…
The Foolish Frog
Way down south in the yankety-yank,
A bull frog jumped from bank to bank,
Just because he’d nothing better for to do!
He stubbed his toe and fell in the water,
You could hear him yell for a mile and a quarter,
Just because he’d nothing better for to do!
Pete Seeger‘s story and book
This little frog has two eyes
Traditional Chinese Nursery Rhyme
This little frog has two eyes,
Four legs,
One mouth, no tail,
Says croak, croak and
Plops into the water.
These little frogs have four eyes,
Eight legs,
Two mouths, no tails,
Say croak, croak and
Five little speckled frogs
Five little speckled frogs
Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grubs.
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Then there were four green speckled frogs.
…4…3…2…1
Five little speckled frogs, sitting on a speckled log
Eating a most delicious fly (ya, ya, ya, ya, ya-ya)
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Then there were four little speckled frogs

La Rana
Audio: Scout
“Cucú” is the sound of a frog. This song describes what a little frog sees from a pond. Additional verses may be added at any time to describe what is happening in the room in which the children are singing.
